End-of-life bill: “I want to vote for a bill, but not just any bill,” assures Sébastien Chenu

Sébastien Chenu, MP for the North and vice-president of the National Rally, was the guest of the 4V on Monday, May 12.
As the National Assembly prepares to examine the proposed end-of-life law this Monday, the vice-president of the National Rally, Sébastien Chenu, reiterated his political group's position. "We, at the National Rally, approach this text with seriousness and freedom. Seriousness because it is a serious subject that appeals to everyone's conscience, and that is why we have the freedom to vote on the text." Personally, he says he wants to "vote for a text that facilitates the end of life in a chosen context, but not just any context."
As for the recent ceasefire negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, the RN MP denounced the " spectator " role of the European Union and Emmanuel Macron. "France should have spoken out, mobilized different countries that can help bring people around the table (for negotiations) [...] we would have expected a mobilization a long time ago ," the MP asserted.
